Giovanna Lombardo Esquire is an associate of BorgerMatez, P.A. where she practices family law. Ms. Lombardo has devoted her practice to family law since she was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2003. In her many years of experience as a family law attorney, she has handled a wide range of family law cases throughout the various counties of South Jersey, cases which have included divorce; custody and parenting time; alimony and child support; post-judgment disputes, domestic violence trials and drafting of settlement agreements. Ms. Lombardo also has handled appeals to the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.

 

Ms. Lombardo was raised in Westchester County, New York and attended Boston University where she earned her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Italian Studies and is fluent in Italian and spent a year abroad studying at the University of Padova and has dual citizenship in the United States and Italy. Ms. Lombardo earned her Juris Doctorate (J.D.).from Rutgers Law School in 2003. Ms. Lombardo served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Timothy G. Farrell, Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey sitting in Salem and Cumberland Counties from 2003 to 2004. Ms. Lombardo also served on the District IV Ethics Committee for the New Jersey Supreme Court, addressing ethics complaints filed against attorneys.

 

Ms. Lombardo was named a Rising Star Super Lawyer in the years 2008 and 2009.

 

Ms. Lombardo and her family reside in Burlington County where she enjoys fitness (specifically weight training), spin class, and participating in bikeathon’s for various charities.  She also enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her family.
