Gary L. Borger, Esq.
Areas of Practice: Throughout his 33 years of practice Mr. Borger has concentrated in family law, gaining substantial experience in handling complex divorces involving alimony claims, child custody and parenting issues, child support, relocation applications to the court for a parent to move out of state with children, property and debt distribution, and applications to the court for protection from domestic violence and abuse. Mr. Borger also has substantial experience in preparing and negotiating pre-marital and cohabitation agreements.
Having been trained at the Harvard Law School in mediation, Mr. Borger offers the client the option of mediating rather than litigating family law disputes between spouses, domestic partners or significant others.

Areas of Practice: The majority of his practice is devoted to Family Law. This includes complex divorces, custody and paternity matters, adoption matters, disputed relocation, Domestic Violence actions, preparation of pre and post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements, Wills, Advanced Directives and Powers of Attorney. Areas of Practice: Bruce has over 20 years of experience handling all types of family law matters including but not limited to divorce (including complex divorce litigation), custody and parenting time (visitation), child support, alimony/spousal support, adoption, domestic violence, equitable distribution of marital property, equitable allocation of marital debt, DYFS matters, same sex Civil Unions and Domestic Partnerships. He has substantial experience in preparing and negotiating pre-marital and cohabitation agreements. Currently, a significant portion of his practice involves serving as mediator for couples who are seeking an alternative to divorce and family law litigation or are involved in post divorce disputes. He is often appointed by the court and colleagues as a mediator or arbitrator to assist in resolving all types of family law disputes. Bruce is also a trained Collaborative Law practitioner, which is a relatively new, less expensive, and more amicable alternative to divorce litigation.
