Gary L. Borger, Esq. - Biography

Areas of Practice:
Since entering the private practice of law in 1977, Mr. Borger has concentrated in family law, gaining substantial experience in handling complex divorces involving alimony claims, child custody and parenting issues, child support, relocation applications to the court for a parent to move out of state with children, property and debt distribution, and applications to the court for protection from domestic violence and abuse. Mr. Borger also has substantial experience in preparing and negotiating pre-marital and cohabitation agreements. In addition, having been trained in collaborative divorce, Mr. Borger can offer yet another option to traditional divorce litigation for those clients who recognize the value of being settlement-oriented from the outset.

Having been trained at the Harvard Law School, Mr. Borger offers the client the option of mediating rather than litigating family law disputes between spouses, domestic partners or significant others. Mr. Borger has also been trained as a collaborative divorce lawyer, yet another alternative to costly, acrimonious divorce litigation.

1972 Bachelors or Arts (B.A.) in psychology from Rutgers University

Testimonials

"Over the past 10 years I have had the opportunity to work with Gary as a forensic expert in many of his family law matters. Gary’s attention to detail and knowledge of the law is top notch. In difficult situations one true colors come through, I have those types of cases with Gary and can honestly say, his handling of the situations are always professional and geared towards achieving better results for his clients. Additionally, Gary has surrounded himself with a great number of partners and staff that can handle all client needs."
Michael

"Bruce is the absolute best in his field. Not only does he know matrimonial law, he understands the individual (emotional) side of it, he has a great network of collegues in the arena, knows the judges, and will provide council that is in YOUR best interest and not his wallet's best interest. I have retained Bruce since firing an incompetent attorney and will continue to use his services until they are no longer needed (which will be a long way off). I have personally recomended Bruce to 5 other people and will continue to do so."
Ronald

"I have worked with Deena on many of her cases in assisting her to design both case strategies and workable case settlement plans. In each instance, she has proved very knowledgeable and also caring and sensitive to her clients' situation. She has always proven extremely resourceful and motivated to out-deliver her client's expectation."
Len

"I just wanted to let you (Gary) know how pleased I am with the representation your firm provided me. You, Deena and Tom (Keeley-Cain) did an absolutely wonderful job in representing my interests. You all made it much easier to deal with the tribulations my divorce."
Glenn

"Mr. Jones you have been my backbone, my courage, & my strength. . . . You pick up the pieces, you let me know when & why I'm wrong, but then you give me that 'things are O.K.' smile."
Debbie
